We have a wide range of rooms and halls available for hire. The halls can be configured for conference, seminar, banquet and other settings, according to your needs.

The Centre is a nice venue for an Islamic weddings or Nikah. The Centre provides all the special inspiration, care and attention you deserve for your special day. Our facilities for weddings include:

Sisters Group

Sisters group

The sisters group is a social network group where Muslim sisters come together to exchange ideas, have interesting discussions and join in social events with their group.

The sisters group provides an opportunity to make new friends, encourages sisters to explore broader interests, and participate in a variety of activities. The sessions have proven to help sisters not only with their English, increase knowledge and confidence, but also as a source of much needed social support.

Much of the support has come about through the friendships made within the group. Involvement in activities, including the creative arts are all in a safe and supportive environment and can provide participants relief from their often chaotic lives.

The group meets regularly at the Centre and are looking at the following topics, as decided by the women themselves:

  • Mental Health and Wellbeing
  • Violence against Women and self-care Session
  • Relaxation Workshop
  • Empowering Women
  • Mindfulness
  • Parliament Visit
  • Arts and Crafts
  • Eco-Living Course
  • Energy Saving Course
  • Participation in public life
  • Cancer Awareness
  • Confidence and Safety

The Nikah ceremony will normally take place at the centre in one of the rooms depending on the amount of guests.

EMCA Matrimonial provides advice and support before and during Marriages with our Imam at the Mosque.
